After an hour

Abheer and Reyan entered the hospital running after an hour. Everyone turned to the direction hearing foot steps and stood up.

Abheer came and asked,
"Maasa, babasa where is Ruhanika? Is she okay now? What about my princess?"

"We don't know anything. The operation is still going on." Vikram said making Abheer sigh in distress. He looked at his mother who was crying and trying to control her sobs seeing him. Abheer went towards her and embraced her making her cry more. He tried assuring her with positive words, but he himself was unsure to what extent his chubby cheeks was injured.

Another 2 hours passed when they heard the door of operation theatre opening. What they see made them gasped with happiness!

The doctor walked out with a baby wrapped in pink blanket in her hands.
She came towards Abheer,
"It's a girl, hukum sa!!" Abheer stood frozen in his place hearing her. His hands automatically moved towards doctor to take the baby.

Abheer's eyes were filled with happy tears so did others.
The baby opened her eyes when Abheer touched her cheeks. Her eyes reminded him of Ruhanika, same brown eyes. She kept staring at Abheer and a tear slipped through his eyes. Abheer kissed her forehead and cheek when she closed her eyes and went to her dreamland.
Doctor's voice brought him back of his trance.

"The baby is a little weak but out of danger, hukum sa. We need to keep her in incubator for some days as she is a premature baby." Doctor said and Abheer's heard ached hearing her condition.

"What about Ruhanika? How is she?" Abheer asked anxiously.

"Well, she is out of danger now but she was too much injured. She went through labour in mid surgery. As she couldn't push, we needed to proceed with C-section birth. Her forehead had 4 stitches. She has 2 cracks in bones in her left arm, injured shoulder, collar bone and ankle fracture. I guess, when she fell, to save the baby, she took the blow of fall on her left side. She is out of danger but will take time to gain consciousness as her body is totally drained and will take time to regain energy."

Abheer Pov

My heart was breaking knowing what she went through. Though everyone was relieved knowing both mother and daughter are out of danger.
My chubby cheeks is so strong. Even on the verge of death, she protected our princess. I can never be more proud of her.

"Can I meet her?" I asked.
"Sure, hukum sa. We are shifting her to her room now. Only one person can meet at a time and try to be quiet beside her. If she wakes up before her body wants to, she will be in more pain that we can't even imagine." Doctor said strictly.

"Can we take the baby?" Maasa asked hopefully.
"I'm afraid no Ranisa hukum. Her skin is little sensitive. Physical exposure can be harmful for her at this stage. And we need take her now." Doctor said and we nodded understanding.

I showed her to everyone before doctor took her away. Everyone was having happy smile on their face.
Reyan was the first who came to me and hugged me.
"Congrats, buddy. Baba ban gaya tu. Aur bet bhi jit gaya. Teri princess ayi hai, Abheer. I'm so happy." He said getting excited and I just nodded at him with big smile and happy tears slipped through my eyes.
(You are a father now, and you also won the bet. It's your princess, Abheer.)

Everyone came and hugged me congratulating me. Babasa was the last one. I hugged him so tightly and whispered (though with full excitement),
"Babasa! Main baba ban gaya, babasa."
He nodded still not pulling out,
"Ha Abheer, congratulations bacche. I'm so happy for you. Maa Kali tum tino ko sada khush rakhe." Babasa said kissing my forehead. I too silently prayed for wellness of my chubby cheeks and princess.

He then pulled out and asked,
"What happened suddenly? You called frantically asking if everyone was safe or not. Then, Ruhanika's accident. Is her accident related to this?" His question burst the happy bubble around the room and tension filled in the air.

My body filled with rage hearing him and I answered with full hatred in my voice,
"OBEROIs, he was behind all this......" I said and started telling him what all happened in Ajmer.

"When we got to know that it was trap to bring Abheer out of the city, we started making calls here. But, when I suddenly remembered about Ruhanika and told Abheer. He immediately called Shekhawat. But by the time we can warn him, Ruhanika was already missing. And then this happened." Reyan continued.

"Oberoi dragged that innocent bacchi in this mess, now I'M NOT LEAVING HIM. HE WILL SEE HELL NOW." Dadasa roared.

"Yes, babsa. WE'LL SHOW HIM WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ONE PLAY WITH THE RATHORES." Kakasa said with sick smile on his face.
I forgot to tell you one thing, Rathores especially the ones in mafia can turn psycho when someone hurts their family.

"Count me in too." Kakisa said with same psycho smile as kakasa.

Told yaa.

"Goodness, Ayaan. You are one lucky guy, man. You're going to work with the 'Devil Princess' on your first mission itself!!" Reyan said punching his stomach lightly and Ayaan just grinned at him showing his all teeth.
"Shhh. You cannot say that aloud, Reyan." Kakisa loudly whispered faking her anger.

"Opps, sorry." Reyan said dramatically raising his hands.
"Okay then, count my 2 slaps too." Maasa said as if she is contributing for some charity. Everyone laughed at her statement and the mood in the room lightened than before.

We turned when he heard footsteps only to see Shekhawat coming.
Men and kakisa moved away when he signaled us so that others couldn't hear us.
"I'm sorry, hukum sa, we could not reach in time. Is mam okay now? Others told about the accident. I came now as I thought to find for some clues if there are any." He asked.

I nodded and signaled him to continue.
"We found one unconscious man and purohit ji at the back side of the temple. Purohit ji was stabbed with knife. Luckily they didn't kill him. There were 2 more people. We caught them and it seems like they are just small robbers payed to kill for 10 lakh rupess. They didn't know who told them.
So we killed them.

Apparently, it looks like when they dragged mam, purohit ji saw them and hit the man who tried to stab mam. The other 2 left mam to catch purohit ji and that's when mam ran from there. While running , she suddenly came in the middle of the road only to get hit by the car." We could just only nod at what he said.

"Start finding Sushant Oberoi. We want him. He is behind all this shit. If you couldn't reach him, get hold of his jerk father." Dadasa said.

"We started, bade hukum, but it seems they both are underground from last 2-3 days. Even our spies in their gang know nothing about thier whereabouts." Shekhawat said.

"Keep trying. Tell our spies to be more alert and try to dig more information about them." Babasa said.
"Abhiraj and I will help with our hacker team, it will make it quick. The more, the merrier." Kakisa said and everyone nodded. We discussed sometime more about plan.

"I think you guys should go home. It's pretty late. They are not allowing to meet her anytime soon. You all probably be tired. I'm with her. I'll inform you if something happens." I said and everyone nodded.

"Yes and also dadisa, we need to make preparations for arrival of bhabhima and baby, don't we?" Aditi said excited and dadisa nodded happily.

"Yes, and being the coolest kaka, I should start preparing her nursery, right?" Ayaan chimmed.

"Not gonna happen! I'm going to make nursery of my princess by my own. You can do all the other preparations. Max I can say, you all can select a temporary crib for her as she is not using her room anytime soon and will be with her maasa all the time." I protested making Ayaan pout.
I'm telling you guys he is just a 2 year old trapped inside that big body.

"And also, who told you are the coolest kaka? I'm going to be her best kaka, and definitely not you! Did you even see your face in mirror, aya bada, 'me being coolest kaka'..." Abhiraj said making faces and teasing Ayaan to which Ayaan whined.

"Oh hello, I'm also in the race." Reyan jumped in the middle and their bickering starts. They cannot even keep silence in hospital.

"Guys what are you doing? This is hospital we cannot make noise here. You are disturbing everyone. And if the question is on being coolest, let the baby decide who is the coolest!" Aishu said calming them. My sisters are really more mature than those 3.

"Okay, so Abheer we will leave now. Call us if you need something anytime." Dadasa said and they started leaving.
Maasa and Reyan came towards me.

"Abheer, please eat something from canteen or do you want me to send something for you from home. " Maasa said.

"No, maasa. I'm fine. You go home and take rest. I know you must have been crying all the time and now your head must be paining a lot. Go and take rest. I'll eat if I feel like." I said kissing her forehead. She smiled and went.

"Do you want me to stay?" Reyan asked me.
"No, go home and take rest. You must be exhausted from the whole drive back to Jaipur." I said patting his back.
"Yeah, I'm. Take care." He too went home.

I mustered a little courage and head towards Ruhi's room....
