Abheer Pov

Reyan and I both entered the study.
"What is it about?" I asked him.

"OBEROIs!!! He flew out of country." He said with anger making me fume in rage.

"WHAT WERE OUR MEN DOING THEN? HOW WE WERE NOT INFORMED BRFORE?!" I said almost yelling at him.

Reyan was mad too,
"Those dumb people got to know when they were out of country. They said someone is willing to help them, that's why that bastard went to make an alliance and seek protection. Bloody coward!!
But I'm not understanding, why would anyone help him knowing we are on his hunt, what is he giving them in return? We have already destroyed their business. And why would someone go against us? We are the biggest mafia clan in the world."

"If someone wants to SNATCH THAT TITLE FROM US!! World knows that we have been undefeated since dadasa's time. Maybe that's why they need him." I suggested thinking deeply.

"And they are protecting him since he knows us and more importantly Rajasthan and would help him with his plans." Reyan completed my thoughts. I nodded at him.

"Who it can be but?" Reyan asked confused.

"ITALIANS!!!" I said declaring.

Reyan's eyes widened at my words.
"Yes, it must be them. They rank immediately after us. They must want to beat us to that."

I nodded at him.
"We should be careful from now on. I never knew that Oberoi even have brain in his head, let alone finding any ally to get protection. We underestimated him this time. Increase the guards around the mansion and try sending our some best spies there. It will be good if we get any lead."

Reyan nodded at went out of study. I sat on my chair rubbing my forehead. It's too much for the day. I have never felt so tired, but just seeing Ruhanika in pain is aching my heart and body. I'm still in shock of the information that I could have lost her last week. But, this time I'm not taking any risk. I'm personally taking care of her.
I'm not leaving that Oberoi for making my chubby cheeks suffer so much. He will pay for this with his life.
I called Sameer.

"Khamma ghani, hukum sa."
"Ghani khamma, Sameer. Cancel my meetings for next week and handle the project and paper works for me. I'll be not coming this week."

"Ji hukum sa, but is everything alright? You never took leave from work before."

"Yeah, everything is fine, just some other things need my attention for now."
"Okay hukum sa, take care. I'll manage."
I hummed and cut the call.

Author Pov

Abheer entered the dining room in night at dinner time.

"Abheer bete, come sit and have your dinner. I'll come after serving to Ruhanika." Niharika said seeing Abheer entering.

"No, kakisa. I came to tell I'll have my dinner with Ruhanika. Send my and her dinner upstairs." Abheer said and left the dining hall.

There was gloomy atmosphere around dining table because of today's events and seeing Abheer serious like before.
Rathore Men were tensed too after getting to know about Oberoi's escape and someone helping him.

Meera and Niharika told everyone what doctor said and what happened in the room before that. Since then, at least a person is in Ruhanika's room to help her even when the whole time she was sleeping due to pain and tiredness.
Niharika came after instructing Rakhi, head maid to serve them food.

"We must take care of her and bring her back to her normal life. I guess we should appoint a nanny for gudiya to help Ruhanika." Gayatri Devi suggested.

"You know maasa, Abheer would never let that happen. He will leave all his works but will never trust anybody other than his family with his princess. And I think the same. Moreover, there are many people in family to take care of her and be with her all the time. We will be there to take care of Ruhanika and gudiya." Vikram said.

Gayatri Devi nodded at him knowing her stubborn grand son.

"He already did, kakasa." Abhiraj said confusing others as to what he was referring.
"Sameer canceled all bhaisa's schedule for the week and is handling his works. Definitely bhaisa is not leaving bhabhisa's side at any cost." Abhiraj said chuckling.

Other were just amused coz Abheer never leaves his work. It's like work is his ultimate solace. Even when Ruhanika was in hospital, he was getting updated of everything going on in company.

"I guess, we should definitely be in good books of Ruhanika. After all that sweet LITTLE DOVE has caged the MONSTER's heart!" Reyan commented making everyone laugh.

"But there is not any specific need to behave good with her, she is too kind and soft for anyone to resist himself from loving her." Vikrant said smiling.

"Couldn't agree more on that!" Adhiraj said smiling. Everyone has happy smiles on hearing that.

In Ruhanika's Room

Abheer entered to find Ruhanika resting with her eyes closed. He thought she was sleeping. So he slowly made his way towards her bed and sat quietly.
Feeling presence in the room, Ruhanika opened her eyes.

Seeing Abheer there sitting beside her, Ruhanika smiled at him and he reciprocated it with his small smile.

"Hey, I thought you were sleeping." Abheer said.
"No Abheer ji, just resting with eyes closed."
"Are you still having headache ?"
"Yes, a little bit. Sleep would make it go." Ruhanika said smiling at his concerns.

"Okay, I think we should eat now. So you can take rest after having medicines." Abheer said. On the cue, maids enter the room with their food, of course, after asking for permission.

Abheer dismissed them and gently made Ruhanika sit and adjusted pillows behind her back to make her more comfortable. He served for her himself.
He sat beside her and before she could eat herself, he started feeding her.

"Abheer ji, I can eat with my right hand, you know?"
"No need of that, when I'm here!" Ruhanika was baffled at his words. Her heart started racing so fast. Before it can explode, Abheer's next words made her relax.

"I...I mean you can eat from tomorrow onwards with your hands. Let me feed you just for today. You look too tired to even feed yourself." Abheer covered what blunder he just made.

Stupid heart, why would you beat so fast just by hearing 'when I'm here' from Abheer ji's mouth. 
Ruhanika thought trying to calm her racing heart.

She didn't protest his claim of her being tired cause she is still feeling weak. Today, was really exhausting for her.

"Abheer ji, why are you not eating?"
"I'll eat after I feed you, Ruhi. Don't worry."
"No, eat with me. You should not skip you meal time while having food. It will lessen your appetite. And there is plenty on the plate already, I cannot eat it all by myself."

"No, Ruhi you eat, I'll eat after you are done, I promise." Abheer said forwarding morsel near her mouth.
Abheer frowned when she closed her mouth not eating and turned her head to the other side.

"I'm not eating unless you start to eat. Feed that to yourself first if you want me to eat." Ruhanika said stubbornly.
Abheer chuckled at her cute grumpy face.

"You are really looking like a baby, Ruhi with that face. Who will say that you are a mother yourself?!" Abheer said with a smile. Ruhanika frowned at him,

"I'm not a baby!!" She said with puffed cheeks and huffed at him.

"Of course!" Abheer teased her.
"Abheer jiiii!!" Ruhanika whined at his teasing. Abheer laughed loudly hearing her whines. Ruhanika's heart filled with happiness hearing his laugh and that beautiful smile on his face.

"Okay, now we should start eating and don't worry I'll eat with you." Abheer said the later when he saw she was about to protest.

Then, he started feeding her and himself and they both ate in silent with Abheer admiring her like always.

After their dinner

Meera and Niharika entered the room to check on Ruhanika and Abheer. They saw Abheer sitting beside Ruhanika, feeding baby her milk from her baby bottle.
The sight was so soothing to their eyes. Abheer and Ruhanika were both lost in their princess who is sucking from her bottle with her closed eyes. She was looking way to beautiful and adorable to their eyes.

Meera and Niharika both made them aware of their presence by knocking on the door, but not before Niharika capturing their this moment.

Ruhanika smiled towards them. Niharika went by Abheer's side only to see baby already sleeping.

"Give her to me, Abheer. I'll put her in her cradle." Abheer nodded and gave his princess to Niharika not before kissing her forehead.

"Did you take your medicines beta?" Meera asked.
"Yes, maasa. Abheer ji gave me."
"Okay, so I think you should take rest now and sleep." Ruhanika agreed. She was feeling sleepy too.

"Umm, Ruhi, would you mind if I sleep with you tonight? You don't need maasa for feeding princess anymore. And, I can take care of her in night. Only, if you don't mind?" Abheer said nervously.

He made up courage so much just to ask this question to her without making her uncomfortable, but now is thinking, he badly messed up asking this question.

Ruhanika thought for a moment. She doesn't want to trouble Meera anymore. And she doesn't know why, but she feels too much safe and content in Abheer's presence. Definitely there is no need to trouble Meera for the night and she can definitely trust her baby with Abheer even with her eyes closed.
So she said yes to him.

Abheer was confused for a moment when she agreed, he thought she would definitely deny him for such a blunt request. But, he was so happy when he processed her words.

Meera and Niharika too agreed to that, thinking these things will help their relation to grow more.

When they went, Abheer made Ruhanika lay down comfortably and sat beside her for a moment covering her with blanket.

"Ruhi, I want to say something." Ruhanika nodded indicating him to continue.

"Promise me, you will never do any such thing again. You will not play with your health in future. You could've seriously hurt yourself today. If any such thing happens again, you will call for me! I promise I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU IN YOUR EVERY PROBLEM. But just don't hurt and put yourself in any danger." Abheer said the last part with sadness visible in his voice.

Ruhanika's heart skipped a beat hearing him. But, she smiled at his concern towards her.

"I promise Abheer ji, I'll not do any such thing that will put me in danger and share my problems with you." Ruhanika said holding his hand.

Abheer smiled at her and kissed her forehead before getting up.

"Good night, Ruhi." Abheer said with so much move in his voice.
"Good night, Abheer ji." Ruhanika said trying to control her racing heart after his kiss.

Abheer checked baby once, before going towards couch to sleep.
