Following days went smoothly with Rathore men back to work. Aishu's prom party was quite success, becoz her date was approved by the Rathore men. He was her bestie since school. He seemed really decent guy and more to their relief he did not romantically like Aishu. They both agreed to become each other's date for the sake of enjoying the party,

Or may be atleast what the boy showed to them and her.

His name was Jaiveer Agnihotri.
He happens to be son of one of the Vikram's business partner. And being her childhood friend, everyone knows him well. Ruhanika also knows him as he was her one of the best, kind and energetic student.

Aditi's exhibition was talk of the city for many days. And as Ruhanika said, the last pieces she made were the highest bidding paintings.

It was five weeks from the day of baby's naming ceremony. The baby Abhaya turned 1 month old 3 weeks ago. All Rathore family were so happy and arranged big feast that day in mansion itself. Instead of arranging grand party, they decided to celebrate with their house staffs and guards. All were extremely happy that day. Due to Ruhanika's loving nature towards everyone, every maid and guard admire her. And who anyways doesn't like cute, calm and non-crying baby! So everyone admire baby Abhaya the same, or maybe a little bit more than Ruhanika, which obviously she won't mind. Everything is going pretty smoothly since then.

However, Abheer has kept a proper tab on Italians. Sushant Oberoi was spotted too during these days with the Italian boss!! Some plans must have made is what Abheer and Reyan thought. And to their luck, one of their spies get to be the guard of Italians Mansion and other get to be positioned in one of Italian's important crew. So, they hoped if they come in action, they might get some clue that could help to avoid and fail their plan!!

Today is finally the day, when Ruhanika will get rid of her plaster. She was extremely happy that she could be able to hold the baby in her arms.

And also today is the day, when baby will get her shots as she became 1 and half month old.

Abheer and Ruhanika are getting ready to go to the hospital. Ruhanika is feeling very happy that she will get rid of this cast and will be able to do everything for her baby. And for one more reason that she will get to wear sarees again as she was not able to wear them due to her fracture and much more comfortable in kurtas.

They both got ready and went downstairs with Abhaya who was in Abheer's arms, freshly bathed.
All had their breakfast and ladies bid everyone bye bye. All were very happy to know that she will be finally totally healthy like before.

On the way to hospital

"Abheer ji, I'm so so happy that I can't even express how different emotions I'm feeling." Ruhanika said excitedly.
Abheer chuckled at her energy and just nodded at her. The baby was smiling too hearing her mother's excited voice and cooing in between.

Baby Abhaya now started to move around her hands and legs vigorously since few days and makes lots of noises to respond someone, making everyone around her feel at peace at the little baby's giggles.

"I'm happy too Ruhi! My princess will finally feel her maasa's warmth without any restriction. I'm really happy for you and her too!!" Abheer said looking at the road while driving, having a small smile on his lips. Ruhanika looked at him feeling emotional that someone was happy just becoz of her happiness.

They entered the hospital privately and Abheer himself looked around if anyone has clicked his pictures like before, coz this time his princess was with them too! He cannot take any risk with her security by even a single percent.

They first went for Ruhanika's check up. As they both entered the room, doctor stood up seeing Abheer.

"Good afternoon, hukum sa! Good afternoon Ruhanika." Doctor greeted them both, to which they both greeted back taking seat in front of her.

"So, today baby has also come." Doctor said looking at Abhaya in Abheer's arms.

"Yes. She is having her shots today and a little routine check up." Ruhanika said smiling at doctor. Doctor nodded at her.

"Okay so, shall we start with your check up?" Doctor asked and Ruhanika nodded getting up. Abheer kept seated on his place, while Ruhanika and doctor moved towards the bed and she started checking Ruhanika.

She then opened her plaster, finally letting Ruhanika's arm free after one and half month. Ruhanika felt relaxed after feeling her hand free. Docter then, did a little physio to move her hand to know whether its completely healed or not and checked her collar bone too.

Once they were done, Ruhanika came and sat beside Abheer and doctor took her seat too.

She said smiling,
"Everything is fine Ruhanika. Your broken bone is healed. Collar bone too. But, just keep some slow movements for some days and you are good to go.
Congratulations, you can finally hold your baby freely!!" Ruhanika thanked her with teary eyes.

"Your baby's appointment is fixed in the room next to this. By the way, what did you name her?" Doctor continued asking.

"Her name is Abhaya Thakur!" Ruhanika replied looking at her, smiling. Doctor once again congratulated her for being a new mother and then, they both stood up to move to the next room.

But, before entering they both stopped in the lobby. Ruhanika held her baby and started kissing her whole face being happy. Silent happy tears flowed from her eyes and she held Abhaya close to her chest. Abhaya too giggled at the love which is being showered on her.

Abheer smiled, finally feeling her happy.

"Congratulations Ruhi!" Abheer said gently and Ruhanika looked at him with her teary eyes and smile on her face. He too smiled at her but what she did next made him shock. Ruhanika pulled him in a hug with her right hand still holding her baby. Abheer recovered from the shock and immediately embraced her in his arms caressing her head. She sobbed burying his face in his chest.

"Th...thank y..you so much, Abh...Abheer ji! I don't know what would I have done, if it was not you or your family. Tha...thank you so s...so much!!" She said looking into his eyes, tears still flowing from her eyes. Abheer's heart ached seeing her tears, but he knew she needed them to let out.

So he gently said,
"I have already told you not to thank me many times, but you ignored it every time. But still, I hope this should be the last time you thank me. And to say what my family or I did, then Ruhi know that you deserve the world!! Our princess deserve the world!! I would do anything in my power if it means you both will stay healthy and happy!!" Abheer said with so much love in his eyes looking deeply into hers.

Ruhanika's heart skipped a beat and she started feeling different emotions within her that she could not name. Her face started feeling hot so she break the eye contact meekly nodding to what he said and looked at baby Abhaya.

Abheer smiled looking at her blushing, but now he decided to start making moves since he knows that now Ruhanika might demand to not stay in the mansion anymore.

Then they moved towards the next room for baby's check up and her shots. Ruhanika's was quite afraid as the shots will hurt her baby and did not want to enter the room, but she knew she has to, as it's for her baby's betterment only.
Abheer was no less, he too from inside was nervous but as always with his skill of masking emotions he put on an emotionless face before entering the room. The doctor stood up seeing Abheer entering the room and greeted,
"Ghani khamma, hukum. Good afternoon Miss. Thankur. Please have a seat."

They both sat down in front of her.
"So this little one is my today's patient." Doctor said smiling at baby in Ruhanika's hands. Ruhanika nodded at her smiling at her soft talks.

"So shall we start with her check up first? Since, she has turned a month old, from what I see from her file, we will have a small body check up first and a little sensory test, like if she tries to catch new sounds or reacts to it or something like that. And then, we will give her some shots after a little body massage and exercise." Doctor said and moving towards the bed where generally this kind of check up is conducted.

(I'm not familiar with these medical terms or procedures. Please bear with me!😅)

Ruhanika stood up with Abhaya and Abheer too, as he wanted to check the doctor is not bothering her princess much.

Though he doesn't know what happens in such check ups.

Doctor asked Ruhanika to keep the baby in bed and she did as told. Then, the nurse who will be helping the doctor started removing Abhaya's clothes and keep her in her nappy only. Doctor started with her check up and nurse started taking notes what doctor was telling and doing as she was told. Ruhanika and Abheer kept looking at the whole process.

But after sometime, Abhaya started turning a little fussy. Becoz perhaps the lazy baby did not like how much exercise doctor was making her do. She will let out an angry squeal every now and then to let doctor know she had enough which made all of them chuckle. But when the doctor still not stopped, fat tears started filling her eyes and her lower lip wobbled. Abheer literally had a panick attack when she started crying loudly. Ruhanika got worried too. Ruhanika and Abheer started to talk to her to make her calm, but she did not stop and kept looking at them while crying as if telling them, to remove her from the clutches of this bad doctor.

Abheer got angry at doctor and spat not so softly,

"What are you doing? She is crying and you are not even making a single effort to calm her, and kept on doing those stupid physio!?" Doctor and nurse got scared at Abheer's harsh voice.

"Hu...hukum, most of the babies cry during their check ups. It's not serious. And if we stop now, she might cry more once we start over again as she will know what are we going to do. We don't want that, d...do we?" Doctor asked in scared voice.

Ruhanika saw that Abheer still didn't look convinced with whatever she said and was about to lash on him again, so she held his hand before he starts shouting.

"Abheer ji, it's okay. She will be fine. We should get done with quickly, so that your princess will be with you, yea?" She said slowly, so that only he can hear. Abheer instantly calmed with her voice and controlled his anger and nodded at her.

"It's most done right doctor?" Ruhanika asked to which doctor nodded vigorously.

"Look it will be done in no time, till then please calm youeself, her shots are still left. We have to be patient with small babies, right?" Ruhanika again said so only Abheer could hear. Anyways, doctor have already started with her work again.

Abheer became more worried now hearing the word shots. He already knew it will pain his princess,but seeing her crying so much even before her shots, he is getting restless thinking how much she will cry when shots are given. Ruhanika chuckled looking at Abheer's expression. Definitely she is worried about her baby, but Abheer's face is seeming way to cute to her when he is worried for her daughter.

"You know Abheer ji, you are looking to cute with that frown of worry on your forehead." She whispered to him making him look at her with questionable eyes raising her eyebrows feeling offended.

"I'm not cute Ruhi. How can I be cute?"
"Ohh you definitely are!" She replied chuckling making Abheer scoff at her.

"Maybe you wanted to say handsome!" He whispered in her ears to tease her.

"Of course you are Abheer ji. How can you be not with those features!? But, you were looking cute too!!" She said giving him confuse look. Her this reply backfired on himself and made his smirk drop. But he just chuckled at his innocent chubby cheeks nodding at her,

"Of course I'm, Ruhi. Thank you so much for complement!" He said which make Ruhanika smile cutely at him.

"You're welcome Abheer ji!" She said nodding at him and then, they both moved their attention to now the hiccuping baby.

At the same time, doctor was done with her massage and all. Now, only shots were remaining. Abheer quickly picked Abhaya up and held her near his chest. He kept her face in his neck and she immediately clutched on his coat seeking for comfort.

The other 3 ladies said loudly,
"Hukum sa...!!"
"Abheer ji!!" But they sighed seeing damage was already done. They were willing to tell him about the oil on her body as she was massaged just now. But they can't do anything now. Abheer also didn't seem to mind that as now, to calm his princess was his main priority.

He started moving around the room to calm her patting her back, away from doctor and nurse of course. Ruhanika started tailing him from behind looking at baby's face from his shoulder. She smiled at how cute Abheer was looking now, being all softie to her baby and with worry on his face. He kept on rocking her and patting her back and the baby kept looking at Ruhanika who was behind Abheer, occasionally taking some hiccups. Her sobs have been died down but still kept on clutching Abheer's coat. Once she was calm down, Abheer laid her in his hands looking at her face. She was calm now, but still his heart ached at her dried tears. He gently kissed her forehead and baby smiled at him. She grabbed his collar before he can move away from her face and giggled loudly. Abheer felt at peace looking at her smiling face. He softly wiped remaining tears from her face. Ruhanika smiled at them, standing near Abheer. She kissed her baby's forehead, which made Abhaya looked at her and she again let out a loud squeal, identifying her maasa.

Doctor and nurse stood their amused looking at Abheer's soft behaviour.
"Ma'am, look how cute hukum is looking while handling the baby!! Ohh my god, no one can tell, he was roaring shouting some time ago like a lion!" Nurse whispered in doctor's ears.

"And don't you think, they both look like a couple and that baby their daughter!?" She again whispered excitedly.

"Yeah, I was thinking the same. But don't know. They both really look lovely together. Now only time can tell, if  Miss.Ruhanika is our next Hukum Ranisa or not!!" Doctor replied on whisper.

"Hope so ma'am. Coz you can definitely see, how softie hukum turns whenever he is talking to Miss.Ruhanika! We already know how hot tempered he is. And it's like he can never be angry in front of her. And truely, they both will look lovely together, right?" Nurse asked happily.

Doctor nodded and said,
"Yes, now let's focus on work, we should give her shots first. She cannot be kept in open air coz we just now massaged her." And moved to gain attention on Abheer and Ruhanika.

"Excuse me, hukum, we should give her shots now. She should not be kept naked for long time after her massage."

How was the chapter...? I'll start from now the story where Abheer starts to take steps to make Ruhanika realize his love for Abheer.... You guys would have already seen glimpse of her feeling towards him... but as you already know till now she was preoccupied with various things to give them a penny of thoughts.....so let's the actual fun begin....
