"Excuse me, hukum, we should give her shots now. She should not be kept naked for long time after her massage." Doctor said making Abheer and Ruhanika come out of their trance.

Abheer nodded and moved towards bed. He started laying down the baby, but doctor interrupted him saying,
"Umm, hukum, I suggest you should sit holding her. We will have to hold her while giving injection. Since she already cried so much, I guess it will be more appropriate if one of you is holding her. Coz, if she jerks her body, she might get wounded with the needle."

Abheer got tensed hearing the word wound,
"Yes, you're right. I will sit holding her."
Ruhanika smiled at Abheer's cute frowning worry filled face. He sat on the bed and the nurse showed him how to hold baby in a position appropriate to give her shots.

Doctor prepared the injection. Abheer properly made Abhaya look at him and not at the doctor. Doctor gave her the shot and after few seconds a loud cry errupted the whole room. Abheer quickly got up from the bed going away from them, followed by Ruhanika. Abhaya was crying so loudly that it physically hurt Abheer seeing her in pain. He kept rocking her and Ruhanika  covered Abhaya with her baby blanket immediately. Abheer held the blanket and kept baby's head on his shoulder and started patting her back. Ruhanika was following Abheer who was pacing, and showing Abhaya baby rattle toys. She was making the sound to let her distract from crying.

After sometime, she stopped crying, but was still occasionally hiccuping. It was hard day for poor baby!
Abheer lay her in his hands and she was started sucking her thumb. Ruhanika understood she must be hungry now, due to all the cryings she did in last half an hour.

"Abheet ji, give her to me. She is hungry I guess. I will feed her." Ruhanika said to which immediately handed her Abhaya after kissing her cheek.

Abhaya immediately clutched onto her dress feeling her maasa's warmth, making Ruhanika smile. She kissed her small small hand,

"My strong Abhaya! Now no crying! Enough for today, hmm!" She kissed her cheeks going towards the bed.

The nurse draw the curtains of the bed to give them privacy. While Abheer moved towards doctor.

"Is it always that painful? I think she was crying way too much. She never cried like that since her birth, even she is calmest baby I have ever seen. You sure, you didn't hurt her while injecting?  Coz I swear, if you did that you will not like the consequences!" Abheer said in scary voice making doctor scared as hell.

"Im...I'm ab..absolutely sure, hukum. I didn't hurt her. Babies cry while getting their shots. Its absolutely normal. I assure you, it is fine. She is fine!" Doctor said on desperate voice to convince him. Abheer nodded still frown etching his face.

"Okay, so now what precautions we would have to take. I think she might get fever after her shot?" Abheer said finally sitting on the visitor's chair in front of doctor's table. Doctor too sat following him.

"Yes, she might get fever for 1-2 days. Since the shots basically contain good bacteria to make her immune strong, they have the after effects of introducing new bacteria to body. And that effect is fever. Her left leg will be swollen for 2-3 days coz of injection given there. That's why she can be grumpy today. Tomorrow she will be back to normal. Nothing much to do, but try not to touch or move her left leg, as it will hurt her. Bath her tomorrow with luke warm water. You can use cold strips for her fever, no need for any medicine. That's all." Doctor said.

Abheer hummed trying to recall once all the things to not forget them. Though he has sharp memory, but he cannot take any risk with his princess's health, can he?!

Ruhanika came with Abhaya who is now fully covered in blanket, but did not wear any clothes, as they cannot move her leg.

He was immediately on his feets going towards them, when he saw Ruhanika struggling to burp her.

"Let me Ruhi." Abheer took Abhaya in his hands and started burping her patting her back. Doctor and nurse were shocked seeing him doing these so perfectly like any experienced dad, but what to tell them?! Our hukum sa is perfect in every task he takes in his hand.

Once she burped, Abheer lay her in his arms. He saw her drooping eyes and started rocking a little to lull her to sleep. She was asleep within a few seconds.

Meanwhile Ruhanika was talking to the doctor, asking what she will need to do next. Doctor explained her all the things she explained to Abheer before. Abheer again wrapped one more blanket to keep her, even covering her ears and head. Then, they bid their goodbyes, ofcourse with Ruhanika thanking them. Abheer royally ignored them and left the room with sleeping Abhaya.

In the car
Ruhanika sat in the passenger seat and Abheer gave Abhaya to her. She was sleeping now after her long long crying session. Abheer sat on the driver seat.

"I was planning on going on lunch after her check up, but I guess we should postpone the plan." Abheer said.
She smiled at his care towards Abhaya or may be his princess.

"Why so Abheer ji? We can go now. Anyways, your princess is sleeping and won't wake for another hour or so as her tummy is full." Ruhanika said patting sleeping baby's chest. She also wanted to go out hearing Abheer, after being in home for so long.

Abheer shook his head saying,
"No Ruhi, we cannot. Doctor said she will have fever. We should not take her outside in such condition og changing weather. " Ruhanika's face fell hearing him, but she nodded understanding the situation.

Abheer saighed saying,
"Don't be upset, my lady! We will go out once she is fine, only we three! Hmm."
Ruhanika's heart skipped a beat hearing him and she could only nod at him in response. These kind of Abheer's talks always make her heart flutter for some reasons unknown to her!!
But we know that, don't we?!

The drive to home was filled with silence. Abhaya was sleeping and Ruhanika was busy understanding his racing heart. Abheer noticed her dilemma and kept silence internally smiling. He thinks that Ruhanika must be having feeling for him since she get so affected by his actions, becomes happy whenever he is with them.

They reached home and Abheer held sleeping baby. All were in the living room waiting for them.

"They're here!" Aishu said looking at them entering. Aditi and she ran towards Ruhanika and engulfed her in bear hug, making Ruhanika difficult to breath. Ruhanika was shocked with sudden hug.

Those 3 became the best buddies in this mean time. Those were the gossip trio of afternoon when others are out for work, of course after Gayatri, Meera and Niharika. Sakshi was their companion too sometimes. Their bond was special amd unique in Rathore Mansion.

"Didisa didisa didisssaaaaaa!!! Finally you are free from that stupid cast. We are so happppyyyyy!!" They both exclaimed hugging her. Ruhanika smiled widely hearing them.

"Tha....thank you so much. Bu..but you know, I'm no....not able to breath." She said in breaking voice. They both immediately realised their position and pulled away saying sorry but still full on grinning.

She then looked towards others. All went for their work in the morning and now all are here, just for her. All have beautiful relieved smiles on their face looking at Ruhanika. She smiled at all of them feeling emotional, but she hold her tears back, not wanting to cry.

All started coming towards them, Adhiraj was next to hug Ruhanika. She happily hug him. He was the dadasa she always wanted.

"I'm so grateful to Maa Kaali, that you are all fine now!" He said pulling out of the hug.

"Me too dadasa, me too!" She said smiling. Adhiraj kissed her forehead before she was pulled by others.
Everyone hugged her feeling happy.

"Finally, mere saare bacche are healthy and happy." Gayatri Devi said.

"Yes maasa, finally everything is back on track." Vikrant said.

"Come on now, it's time for celebration!" Ayaan said getting excited. Which get a yay from Aishu and Aditi. Abheer, Abhiraj and Ruhanika shook their heads on this party hungry trio.

"Nope, nothing like that is happening. Instead, we all can have lunch in garden." Ruhanika said. Those 3 whined for a while but kept quite after Abheer raised his brow at them.

This is the power of brow-raise of Hukum Sa!!! 😅😅

"What about our gudiya? Did she cry a lot?" Meera asked coming towards Abheer who was holding the baby.

Abheer hummed looking at his princess.

"You know, she was crying so much, that Abheer ji was lashing out on doctor as if she is hurting her." Ruhanika teased Abheer coming to the side of Meera. Abheer raised his brow at her while others stood amused to the revelation.

"Really!?" Abhiraj asked amused. Ruhanika nodded eagerly saying,

"Really! You could have seen the doctor's face. She and her nurse were one second away from having a panick attack!" All started laughing while Abheer just shook his head at his teasing chubby cheeks. She has became more bold and free around him from their first meet, but he liked her like this more.

"He was looking so cute while calming Abhaya. You could have seen his worry filled face, it was the most adorable of all!" She said laughing making others join her.

"Okay, okay. Now don't tease my chiku anymore!" Gayatri Devi said. Abheer hissed at his nickname and he knows now what is coming.

"CHIKU??!" Ruhanika exclaimed with confusion.

"Ohho Ruhi, you didn't know that chiku is nickname of your Abheer ji!!" Reyan said in teasing tone making Abheer glare at him. While younger clan and Ruhanika laughed loudly at Abheer's glaring irritating face.

"Wow, so great Hukum Sa of Rajasthan, Abheer ji is CHIKU!!" Ruhanika said making others laugh at her comment.

"Okay, now come on. Let's have lunch. Coz, once Abhaya is waking up, Ruhanika won't be getting any time for herself." Niharika said and they all moved towards garden, where they all will be having lunch. Abheer gave Abhaya to Meera.

Ruhanika was about to move out when she was suddenly pulled by someone putting his hand on her mouth to not let her shout.

She looked scared but immediately relaxed seeing it was Abheer.
"What are you doing Abheer ji? You freaked me out for a second." She said keeping her hand on her chest.

Abheer smirked and placed both his hands beside her head, caging her in between wall and him. Ruhanika became nervous with the position. Her breath hitched when he leaned and their faces were just inches apart. Their noses were almost touching. She tried to move more into the wall to make some  distance between them but could not make that happen.

"What am I doing huh? Who was the one teasing me before? Weren't you enjoying teasing me way too much, babygirl?" Abheer said in husky voice. His breath fanned over her face making her whole face heat up.

"Abh...Abheer ji, I did..nothing." She tried to reason in stuttering voice, but could not process the word due to their proximity.

"Oh nothing? First making fun of me in front of others and then denying it. I guess you deserve a punishment for this, don't you think?" Abheer said slightly brushing his lips with her earlobes.

She shuddered feeling his lips touching her ears. She tried to make some distance by keeping her hands on his chest, but that did not budge Abheer from his position.

"Abheer ji, it was just masti, and only family was there...wh..why need punishment for that?" Ruhanika said in timid voice.

"Hmm, so it doesn't need one?" Ruhanika immediately shook her head. Abheer smiled in his mind looking at her nervous gaze.

"Okay then, but next time you do something like this....." he kissed corner of her mouth".... I'm kissing the hell out of you!" Abheer said the later lart in her ears and left from there.

Ruhanika was frozen on her spot. She touched her corner of lips where Abheer just kissed her! Whole zoo was dancing in her tummy. Her heart was racing like any cheetah.

What the fuck did just happen!!!!
