Flashback
He immediately got up from his place and embraced Meera softly, who sobbed on his chest clutching his shirt tightly. Others smile at them both, while ladies were having teary smiles on their faces.
By the time drama started, younger clan was present too. They know that Abheer was getting scolded, but didn't know the reason.

"What did you do now buddy? Why is maasa crying so much?" Reyan asked coming towards them.
Abheer sighed thinking that once again, another session of scolding is about to begin.
"He was sick yesterday Reyu! He was having high fever all night, and didn't even eat anything whole day." Before Abheer could distract the topic, Meera said sobbing while breaking the hug.
"WHATTT??!" All younger siblings including Reyan shouted, making sleeping Abhaya flinch. She woke up startled and started crying loudly getting scared. Vikrant tried rocking her to calm her but that didn't work. Abheer was about to move towards her but was stopped by Gayatri Devi.
"You stop. Ruhanika will take her. You will not go near her being sick." She said in stern tone making him sigh. Abheer was already tired. On top of that, he was having mild headache, which was increasing with so much noise.
Ruhanika immediately held her and moved towards backyard to get out of the crowded living room.
"Bhaisa, why were you so careless?
I think it is definitely coz of work. I told you so many times, my work for the day was complete even before the day ends, so that you could give me some of yours. But no you have to do it all by yourself. Why don't you take care of yourself?" Abhiraj said sadly, feeling disappointed in himself and guilty for not being able to be of any help to his brother.
"Yes, bhaisa. It was quite a time since I joined too. You could have trust me with too with some important works. I would have never disappointed you." Ayaan said feeling angry on careless self of his brother.
Aditi and Aishu immediately went towards Abheer hugging their bhaisa.
"Are you all okay now?"
"Your temperature decreased right?" They both asked one by one, to which Abheer gently hugged them back, kissing their foreheads.
"I'm all fine now baccha. Don't worry. Yeh chhotasa bukhar tumhare bhaisa ka kuch nahi bigad sakta." They smiled at him.
"Next time you are getting sick, I'm kicking your ass even before you get healthy. And I mean it." Reyan said sternly.
"Okay baba. Here I'm sick and from morning everyone is scolding me. Spare this poor guy. And come on give me a hug, Abhiraj, Ayaan, Reyan. I want to get better soon!!" Abheer said noticing the dilemma going on in Abhiraj's head. They immediately went towards him and all younger clan did group hug. Elders smile at their children.
Ruhanika came after calming Abhaya and feeding her in garden. Don't worrt no one was there and she too covered herself before feeding baby.
Abhaya was now wide awake and held in sitting position in Ruhanika's arms.
The younger clan immediately went towards her, as it is rare to see her at the time of breakfast. Everyone was fighting for her attention, but she kept looking behind them all in the direction of Abheer, sucking on her fist.
Their gazes shift behind their back when they noticed Abhaya didn't pay any heed to them. They sighed sadly knowing that now it is difficult to get her attention when Abheer is in the room. Abheer smiled at her, to which she too smiled at him with fist in her mouth. She then tried to lean forward to get into Abheer's arms. Everyone's eyes widen seeing 2 month old leaning towards someone, when she can't even hold her neck.
"Wow, my gudiya wants to go to Abheer. But you know, badi dadi said not to go to Abheer ji. Now what will you do gudiya?" Niharika said and everyone looked at her curiously.
She looked at her face for a moment and then at Abheer. As if understanding, no one is giving her to Abheer, her eyes started filling with tears and again a loud cry echoed in the room. Others laughed at her reaction.
"Ohho, no one is letting my gudiya to be with Abheer hmm. Come on, ask badi dadisa if you can go to Abheer ji." Adhiraj said taking her from Ruhanika's arms and going towards Gayatri Devi. Abhaya looked at Gayatri Devi with doe teary eyes, sniffing softly. Ruhanika chuckled at her dramatic baby. Definitely Reyan's presence in her life is working!
Gayatri Devi kissed her cheek before going towards Abheer. She checked his temperature, which is normal now. She went to take Abhaya to give her to Abheer.
"You are holding her for only sometime. And Ruhanika make sure you bath her afterwards one more time. We should not be careless about her health, like Abheer is about his!" She said taunting Abheer. He whined taking Abhaya making others laugh.
"Only my princess cares for me. Others are only for scolding and teasing me!" He said kissing her cheeks. Abhaya smiled and snuggled in his neck, clutching his shirt.
"Come on, let's go have breakfast." They all then moved towards dining room, where breakfast is being served by maids. They all had breakfast with normal talks.
Meera then gave medicine to Abheer.
"Vikram, Vikrant, handle all works by yourself for somedays. Abheer won't be coming to office." Adhiraj said.
"Dadasa I'll be all fine by tomorrow. Somedays leave is just too much. What will I do staying in home anyways? I'll be going tomorrow to office." Abheer said protesting.
"He was not asking for opinion young man. After how recklessly you have behaved, you have no say in this decision. You are simply staying at home and resting. Even if it means you will get bored! Bear with it. Take it as your punishment!" Gayatri Devi said sternly. Younger clan controlled their laughter looking at Abheer's shocked face.
"Don't you think dadisa, this much scolding is enough as my punishment." Abheer said giving a last try.
"Nope, you deserve it. Anyways you have done much overtime in last days to fill your gap in upcoming days. I think these 4 will be enough to handle few days without you." She replied.
"Yes, bhaisa. You rest for somedays. We will handle everything perfectly. With all your efforts, the deal is completely ours. Just signing is remained. Don't worry, everything will go according to your way." Abhiraj said making Abheer smile.
"Anyways, you can help Ruhanika with Abhaya, if you get bored. She trouble her maasa too much these days." Niharika said in teasing tone. Ruhanika turned all red listening to her.
"Kuch bhi ha kakisa. I can manage her. Why bother Abheer ji for that?" Her comment made everyone laugh and Abheer frown.
"You're not any bother Ruhi! I told you so many times that." Abheer said making Ruhanika go all red. Younger clan wanted to hoot, seeing their bhaisa all showing love towards Ruhanika all openely, but controlled. Elders smiled hearing Abheer. Ruhanika just looked down to avoid his heated gaze and not show him her red face.
Men then went to work. Adhiraj and Gayatri went in their room, Meera and Niharika went in their office to discuss their NGO related work and Aishu and Aditi went in backyard to give the couple privacy.
Abheer was sitting in living room sofa beside Ruhanika with Abhaya on his lap. She was almost alseep so he was just patting her bum to lull her to sleep, holding her close to his chest.
"My princess looks so beautiful and peaceful while she sleeps, right?" Abheer asked in hushed tone not to disturb the sleeping baby. Ruhanika hummed caressing her head. She then, kept her near crib covering her with blanket to give her more warmth.
"Abheer ji, I'm so sorry. I was just going to tell maasa as you know, any mother has right to know when her child is sick. If Abhaya was in your situation and me in maasa's, I would be upset too if I'm uninformed. I didn't know, that all will get so tensed and start scolding you so much. I'm so sorry, coz of me everyone yelled at you. Please forgive me." Ruhanika sincerely apologised feeling guilty that he got yelled at due to her.
Abheer smiled at her innocent thinking and said,
"I can understand Ruhi. Ne need to apologise. It's alright. You did what you think right. I'm not angry at you or something. And I know my family, they are like this only if one of us gets sick. They will first take care of you till you get healthy, then there is 'samuhik dat' arranged for you afterwards. And you saw, you will not want to get sick coz of that." Abheer said chuckling making Ruhanika giggle.
There was comfortable silence for sometime. Then Abheer spoke,
"I should go check on Brock and Claire after sometime, I guess. Anyways I'm home getting bored."
Ruhanika ears pricked hearing the word Claire. She is really curious about this woman. Her Abheer ji tends to remember her after some time of span, like she is really someone special.
"No, you are not going anywhere!" Ruhanika said in stern tone, which Abheer never heard before. He frowned looking at her. Ruhanika immediately realized what she said, and said in baffled tone to cover it up,
"I...I mean, you are recovering from fever. You should not go outside, atleast today. You know, the weather is changing. You can catch cold too in such weather. I suggest you stay at home and rest." Ruhanika said last line slowly, in hope he would get convince.
Abheer smile at her concern and said,
"There's no problem Ruhi. The farms are at the backside of mansion only, attached to the property. We can quickly give a visit. I suggest you should come too. You will feel way too peaceful in there."
Ruhanika did not like the idea of Abheer being with another woman in front of her. But she is really curious to meet that lady, who seemed to capture eyes of Abheer. Coz as far as she knows Abheer, he never mentioned of any other female friend other than this Claire. She really wants to know what special is about this Claire. So she just nodded saying,
"Okay. But I think we should ask maasa first before going. She was way too worried for you since morning." Abheer sighed at her response. He understands worry of his mother. And knows it will be really difficult to go out when she is at home. But, he really wants Ruhanika to meet with Claire.
"Then, I guess today's plan will most probably be cancelled." Abheer said in fake sad expression making Ruhanika laugh.
The whole day Ruhanika and Abheer were together. Aishu and Aditi too decided to not have their afternoon gossip session with Ruhanika so that their Bhaisa can spend some more time with their to be bhabhisa. Abheer in real sense got time to spend with Ruhanika after she came home. Coz, others were probably busy with their work, or faking to be busy, for which Abheer was really glad having such a nice persons around him.
As Abheer thought, Meera didn't allow him to go to the farms, but said he can go tomorrow. So Abheer chose to spend time with his princess and chubby cheeks whole day. Coz, why not, he never got chance to spend a minute with his princess in last couple of days.
He got to know, how mischievous baby Abhaya has become! She started trying to lift her head, and moves her hands and legs alot than, the last time he saw her. She now tries to crawl up with her legs on her back, when she is placed on her back. He was glad she was growing up all healthy, but still he didn't like the fact that she is already 2 months old. He loved her those newborn red cheeks which are now started to fade, filling with her skin colour more. But still he could not be more grateful to Kaali Maa, to bless him with her and her maasa!!
Unknown Pov
A man is drinking scotch, standing near window of his office, looking at the black clouds, which are indicating of upcoming storm. That's when his father and younger brother entered after knocking on the door. He did not turn to greet them. His father sighed and walked towards him and said keeping hand on his shoulder.
"Why are you doing this son? Do you really think it's all worth it to do, just for power?"
"Yes fratello. Do you really think its worth it to help that scumbag to get his revenge and destroy that beautiful family which has done nothing wrong to us.
You know right Family is Everything!!
And we do not go for anyone's family, even if it's our enemy." His brother said, one more time trying to convince him to step back from his decision.
"Right!! We do not go for anyone's family!" His father seconded.
The man took a deep breath before turning towards them,
"You know me right papà? I can do nothing to disappoint you. Trust me, I will not do anything you don't like!" The man said in his deep husky voice.
"Does that mean you have some different motive with all the things going on?" His brother asked raising his brows.
The man just smirked taking sip of his scotch!!!
