All men were in the office. Abheer was busy with his daily office routine. Though like most of you people think like how can Abheer be so calm and be back to work when Ruhanika left the house, his princess is not there anymore, but don't worry. He is chill because he knows she loves him. She said it or not, he knows about her feelings. So even after being at some distance, he knows at one point she is going to be his, and for forever!!

Like that it was already past noon. His meetings were all over for the day. He was with Reyan in his cabin discussing about some business.

That's when Sameer entered in his cabin after knocking,

"Hukum, there is someone who wants to meet you." Sameer said.

"Who is he?" Abheer asked reading some document. Reyan was there too on a call talking by the window.

"Mr. Karan Rajput!" After hearing that name, the fast they both snapped his head towards him can even break their necks.

Abheer stood from his chair while Reyan told the person to call later.

"Send him in." Sameer nodded and went outside.

"Were you expecting him today?" Reyan asked standing by his side, shocked hearing his name.
Abheer shook his head in answer. They both were impatiently looking at the door.

When they heard the knock, Abheer permitted to enter. What they saw shook them both!
Karan Rajput was on a wheel chair!!

"Ghani Khamma hukum sa." Karan greeted him with a playful smile. Arjun, his brother frowned at his tone to greet him, coz he didn't know that Abheer was his friend.

Abheer snapped at that and glared at him,
"Muh tudwayega tu agar formality dikhayi toh." Abheer said making him laugh.

(You will get yourself punched if you do this all formality.)

"Chal aja ab ek pyaar ki jhappi to dede." Karan said laughing making Abheer smile and go towards him. He hugged him tightly after meeting his childhood friend nearly after a decade. Their both eyes were a little moist but lips having happy smiles.

(Come on now give me your loving hug.)

"Aur yeh kya dekh raha hu main? Yeh wahi buddhu Reyu-Weyu toh nahi?" Karan asked when Abheer pulled out of the hug.

(And what am I seeing? Is this that dumb Reyu-Weyu?)

Reyan looked at him with teary eyes and crashed himself on Karan, who hugged him back with same force. Reyan and Karan were friends even before they met Abheer.

"Gadhe kaha chala gaya tu chhod ke. Mana ki shaher badal diya, kamse kam contact toh rakh sakta tha na!" Reyan said smacking his head lightly.

(You rascal where did you go leaving us? We understand that you left the city, but you could've been in our touch, right?)

"Oww, lagta hai saale." Karan exclaimed rubbing his head making Reyan and Abheer chuckle in tears.

(Oww, it hurts asshole.)

They both looked behind him to see a young man standing there awkwardly looking at their interaction.

"Who is this Rajput?" Reyan asked after wiping his tears.

"This is my younger brother, my kakasa's son, Arjun Rajput." Karan said.

"And Arjun, these are my school mates our hukum Abheer Singh Rathore and Reyan Singhania." Karan said to Arjun.

"Ghani Khamma!" Arjun greeted them both making them nod.

"Khamma Ghani. Come let's sit on the couch." Reyan said moving towards couch with Abheer while Arjun strolled Karan's wheelchair till there.

They sat, Karan on his wheelchair while Arjun chose to stand beside them.

"How did all this happen? Were you in any accident?" Abheer asked gesturing at Karan's condition.

"That's why I'm here." Karan said making them frown. While Reyan patted beside him for Arjun to sit, who sat there after getting a nod from Karan.

"I was in coma for last 8 months." He said making them both shock.

"What?!" Was the only word they could utter.

Karan nodded and continued,
"I was in some meeting Jodhpur 8-9 months before. The meeting was in some hotel. Point is not that. The point is I heard someone saying that they were planning to attack hukum sa when he was going to be in some public event." Abheer remembered about the attack that did not go as planned.

"What does that has to do with your accident?" Reyan asked.

"It does. They were the people who crashed my car when I was on way to Rathore Industries to inform Abheer." They both became raged hearing that.

"Did you remember exactly who was behind your accident?" Abheer asked calmly.

"Yes, I was surprised knowing the person. You would be too. You know that Sushant Oberoi , the head of Oberoi Industries!" Karan said amused.

Abheer's and Reyan's blood were boiling by now, that much angry they were.

"Iss Oberoi ko chhodunga nahi main!!" Abheer murmured clenching and unclenching his fist.

"I was glad when I heard from my family that nothing like I said happened. They were like the attack was not planned on the first place, but I clearly remembered that guy talking about you." Karan said. Abheer and Reyan looked at each other coz they knew the attack was actually planned. If it was not fot Abhiraj's hacking team who saw the men on the building with snipers and informed Shekhawat about that, the attack would have been executed as planned.

"I'm so sorry. Indirectly, I was responsible for your accident." Abheer apologised keeping his hand on his knee. Karan immediately held it and said,

"Are you mad or what? How can you be at fault when the person who did that was planning to kill you?" Karan said.

Reyan nodded too,
"Yes buddy. It was all that Oberoi's fault. He is gonna pay for what he did!" Reyan fumed in anger saying that.

Abheer now connected the dots and got to know that why Karan stopped talking with Ruhanika.

"So what did doctor say? This wheelchair is not your permanent aid, is it?" Reyan asked worried.

"Yep. It's just I woke up last week only, so I will need some time to regain strength of my limbs. No need to worry." Karan said smiling at his concern. Abheer and Reyan heaved a sigh of relief hearing that.

"I was in Rathore Hospital only, here in Jodhpur since the passerby admitted me there. From what I heard these were the really difficult months for my family!" Karan said.

"What do you mean?" Abheer asked though he had idea where it was going.

"My wife was pregnant before my accident. I missed the birth of my baby boy." Karan said with a sad chuckle.

Reyan held his hands for comfort. Reyan was shocked coz he didn't know about Karan's baby, only Abheer knew.

"Plus, after my accident, my family got to know about the attack on army base camp. In that attack, my sister's husband died. I recently got to know that." Karan said as a tear slipped his eye. Abheer and Reyan saw their ever so strong friend beeaking down like that for the first time in life.

"Actually, I came here for that too." Abheer nodded at him to continue.

"I'm even ashamed in saying this.

My sister married her husband without permission of my family. So my family sort of cut all ties with her, becoz the guy was orphan plus in army.
But, after she moved in with him, I was the only person she was in contact with. My family is weirdest people I know. Even after throwing her out, they have been keeping a nice check on her health and well being. Though their ego was so big, they never failed in taking care of her from afar." Abheer frowned hearing him.

"What do you mean?" Abheer asked.

"I told you I was in contact with her as her support, but they too forced me to do that, so that at least one of the family member could know about her health and all." Abheer was amused hearing that. Coz, he too like Ruhanika thought that they totally forgot that they have a daughter outside there and living their life happily.

"But I don't know why and when she changed the city suddenly?" Karan said making them frown.

"After her marriage we all knew that they moved to Ajmer after some months when she failed to pursue my family in accepting them. After my accident, my family shifted to Jodhpur as I was getting treatment here. But when my family got to know about her husband's death, they were so shocked and worried, that they immediately went to Ajmer for her. But, when they reached, they came to know from her neighbours like they both shifted to somewhere else many months before. I was so shocked hearing that coz she never told me. My family was devastated not knowing what to do, how to find her coz the only person who could help them, was in coma." He said referring to himself.

"Babasa kakasa hired many security service to find her, but no use. They couldn't find her anywhere in Ajmer. We searched whole Ajmer and Jaisalmer thinking thats she might have gone their afterwards, but she wasn't in any of it. Maasa dadisa are always worried about her, that how will she be, where will she, did something happen to her, coz of course Abhay didn't have any family. They all deeply regret sending their piece of heart away from themselves! My wife, Arohi was telling me that there wasn't even a day that my maasa and dadisa didn't cry for our Ruha!

That's why, I need your help Abheer. Help me find my sister. Please, I don't even know at this point how will I find her. Please help me!" Karan said joining his hands before Abheer making him immediately held his hands.

"Are you mad or what? Why are you even requesting? If you consider me your friend even a bit then order me to do it. Don't even think of requesting. I won't hesitate to ruin your this handsome face, if you do so!" Abheer said sternly holding his hands making his tears fall.

"Thank you." He said. Abheer hugged him patting his back. Reyan too joined the hug.

After breaking the hug Abheer and Reyan shared a look. When Reyan gave him a nod, Abheer spoke,

"Karan I want to tell you something." Karan nodded. But before Abheer could speak Arjun's phone rang.

"It's badi maa bhaisa." Arjun said picking up the phone.

"Ha badi maa....
Yes badi maa, bhaisa is with me.....
Okay. Here bhaisa." Arjun said passing the phone to Karan.

Karan took the phone sighing,
"Haa maa......
I'm fine maa....
No maa.....
Okay, okay calm down. Will be there in 15 min, don't worry.....
Yeah, fine. Bye." Karan said and cut the call.

"Maasa called to come home, saying that I should take some rest and all." Karan told them.

"Of course she is right. You woke up just last week, and you even started going wandering around. It's not done, Rajput." Reyan said in stern voice.

"Please now, you don't start. The ladies in my home are enough to lecture me." He said rolling his eyes.
Reyan huffed making Abheer and Arjun smile at their bickering.

"You were saying something Abheer?" Karan asked.

But, this time Abheer's phone rang making his words halt.
He looked to see Ruhanika calling.

"Just a min, I have to take this call." Abheer said getting up and going a little away from them.

"Hello?"
"Hello, Abheer ji?"
"Yes, Ruh."
"I don't know how, but I got some letter in my bag. It just has your name on it. I didn't open it. Can you send someone to collect it for you?" Ruhanika asked.

"Letter?" Abheer asked.
"Yes."
"Okay. I will come to take it."
"Okay. I'll hang up now." She said making Abheer hummed and hanged up. Abheer was really confused as what might be in that letter and mainly how can his letter be with Ruhanika. But, his intuition was telling him that it was not a good news. So, he decided to go to her home as soon as possible.

"Sorry, but I have to be somewhere else right now." He said to Karan. Reyan frowned and asked him in gesture as what it is. But, Abheer just shook his head indicating nothing to worry about.

"Oh, it's alright. I have to go home too as soon as possible or else my maa will worry for nothing. We can meet later again. In fact, you guys should come home, you must want to see my son." Karan happily invited them.

"We will be more than glad to meet your cutest baby boy." Reyan said making Abheer smile too.

"Plus you have to tell kakisa to make her special gatte ki sabji for us." Reyan said making Karan laugh.

"You still remember it's taste, don't you?" Reyan grinned at his comment.

"Okay then, we will get going." Karan said. They bid their goodbye and Karan and Arjun left, but not before exchanging their numbers.

"Weren't you gonna tell him about Ruhi? What happened then?" Reyan asked when they left the cabin.

"I was. But it was Ruhanika's call. She called me to come to her home. That's why I need to leave right now." Abheer said wearing his blazer coat.

"Nothing to worry right?" Reyan asked.
"No. It's fine. You continue with your work, I'll come after visiting her." He said going out of the cabin.

With Ruhanika

After Abheer left, Sakshi made Ruhanika sit by her side.

"What happened yesterday? You both were on date right?" Sakshi asked curiously.

"It was not a date!" Ruhanika said with wide eyes and her cheeks were turning pink a little.

"Well, it was definitely a date seeing by your reaction. Something has really happened. Now tell me what is it?" She asked excitedly.

"Well ummm..." Ruhanika started narrating about the things yesterday Abheer planned. Jal Mahal, dinner, their dance and little about his confession, then his reaction when she refused to acknowledge his feelings and all.

By the time she completed she looked to see Sakshi sitting there wide-eyed.

"W..what happened?" Ruhanika asked fearing about her reaction. But, Sakshi suddenly squealed jumping and did a little dance of celebration.

"Wow!!! Like really wwoooww!! Hukum sa was so romantic!! I wish I would be there to witness you both there. You both definitely look so good together. See, I told you that he loves you, right? These things cannot escape from this Sakshi Nair's eyes!!

And you are the biggest idiot who rejects her love when he is proposing!!" Sakshi said smacking her head.

"Oww! Why would you hit me!" Ruhanika pouted rubbing her head.
"And I told you yesterday only the reason behind my stupid act." She huffed.

"Well, I'm glad at least Hukum didn't believe you! Girl, you are lucky to get such a gentleman! You better accept your feelings soon and be happy, or else I will do the things you need to do!" Sakshi said warning her.

"I know, I know. But I still feel bad for the girl maasa chose for Abheer. What if that girl started liking or worse loving Abheer ji? Maasa must have told her wish to make the girl her daughter-in-law na?" Ruhanika questioned sadly.

"Well, this was meant to happen, so it happened. Though this is sad on her part, hope she gets what she deserves!" Sakshi said.

"I hope so too.'' Ruhanika smiled.

Sakshi turned towards Abhaya who was on the baby mat sucking her fist and picked her up.

"Now my baby niece got a father!! Yayy!!" She exclaimed bouncing with Abhaya making her giggle. Ruhanika blushed at her comment, still having smile on her face.

"Okay okay come on now. Help me arrange some things now. Though there is nothing much." Ruhanika said. She got up to go to her room followed by Sakshi and happy Abhaya.

They arranged some things and made food for their lunch together. They sat in the living room after their lunch. Ruhanika was catching up with Sakshi about University things while feeding Abhaya. But her hair were coming on her face again and again. One time, Abhaya even held them in her grip tightly making her wince.

"Sakshi can you just bring me my purse from inside. There are hair ties in it." Ruhanika said freeing her hair from Abhaya's fist.

Sakshi nodded and got up to go in the room. But she came in the room frowning. She gave hair tie to her and said,

"Ruhi, what is hukum's letter is doing inside your purse? Did you keep it?" Ruhanika frowned not knowing what she is talking about.

"Which letter?" She asked making Sakshi show her the letter.

She took it in her hands and saw Abheer's name written on it.

"I don't know about this letter. How can it be in my bag?" She said.

"Well, if you don't know, then you should tell hukum that his letter by mistake came in your things." Sakshi said.

"Yes. I guess it came with my things when they were shifting earlier. Can you keep Abhaya in the crib while I call Abheer ji?" Sakshi nodded and passed the sleeping Abhaya to Sakshi. Sakshi went in her bedroom to keep Abhaya in her crib.

Ruhanika picked her phone to call Abheer,

"Hello?"
"Hello, Abheer ji?"
"Yes, Ruh."
"I don't know how, but I got some letter in my bag. It just has your name on it. I didn't open it. Can you send someone to collect it for you?" Ruhanika asked.

"Letter?" Abheer asked.
"Yes."
"Okay. I will come to take it."
"Okay. I'll hang up now." Ruhanika said and they hanged up the call.

"Did you call?" Sakshi asked sitting beside her.
"Yeah, he said he will come to take it."
"Ohho, someone just needs reasons to meet someone." Sakshi teased her making Ruhanika whine as she was teasing her since the time she told her everything. Sakshi laughed at her red tomato face.

She hugged her saying,
"I'm really happy for you! I can't wait to be your bridesmaid in your wedding!"

Ruhanika slapped in her back still hugging,
"You're going faster than us both, you realise that?"
"Yep. Coz you deserve it after what you've gone through." She said grinning. Ruhanika squeezed her more in her hug, glad to have such a selfless friend.
